About the Character:
The son of Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala, Luke Skywalker’s development as a Jedi Knight is chronicled in Star Wars Episodes IV to VI. He starts off as a 19-year-old moisture farmer on Tatooine living with his Uncle and Aunt. He learns from Jedi Mater Obi-Wan Kenobi that he has the ability to be a powerful Jedi. He later joins the Rebel alliance and continues his training with Jedi Master Yoda. His powers grow very quickly and by the final episode “Return of the Jedi” Luke is a very powerful Jedi Knight and has the ability to destroy both Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine.
