About the Movie
The successful sequel to the original Spider-Man, part 2 focuses on Peter Parkers struggle with being a superhero. His double life seems to be ruining his relationships with friends and family. It is also having negative impact on his studies. As a result he meets Prof. Otto Octavius, his scientific idol.
After a terrible accident that kills Octavius wife and fusses his spin with mechanical arms, Octavius becomes Doctor Octopus and blames Spider-man for the disaster. The two do battle throughout the movie. During all the action Mary Jane Watson, Peters true love, discovers that he is Spider-man.
The film had huge blockbuster at the box office, grossing $783.8 million worldwide. This made Spider-man 2 one of the top 20 highest grossing films of all-time. It won a number of awards and was created with having great visual effects
