About the Player: The first overall selection of the 1998 NHL Draft, Vincent Lecavalier has not disappointed the Lightning fans; He was named Captain of the team in 2000 (the youngest ever at the time). He has led the team to a Stanley Cup in 2004 as well as Team Canada to the World Cup Gold medal in 2004. He hold the record for most points in a season by a Lightning player (108 in 2007) as well as the only Lightning player to have 50 goals in a season. Lecavalier has been called the Michael Jordan of hockey and many hockey fans consider him one of the best players in the game.
