One of the best players of his generation, Jaromir Jagr has won two Stanley Cups, back-to-back with the Pittsburgh Penguins (1991 & 1992), won an Olympic Gold Medal (1998), won a Hart Trophy (1999) and holds many NHL and New York Rangers records. Jagr was traded to the New York Rangers in 2003, he has had a rejuvenated career with the Blue Shirts. Jagr is now a Rangers Captain. He holds the teams record for most regular season goals (54), most regular season points (123), most regular season power play goals (24), most regular season shots on goal (368) and most regular season game-winning goals (9). Jagr has scored the most goals of any European born player (1468 as of 11/25/2006) and was awarded the Golden Stick Award 7 times (1995, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2005, 2006). The Golden stick award is the highest award given to a player from the Czech Republic. Jaromir has solidified his place amongst the greats of the game and he will be inducted into numerous Hockey Hall of Fames once he decides to hang up his skates.
