He has racked up over 600 goals throughout his career. He has also won three Stanley Cups, been selected to 7 All-Star games and is well respected by teammates and opponents. Shanahan has also been a member of the Canadian Olympic hockey team, where he helped them win a Gold Medal in the 2002 Winter Olympics. Shanahan is a member of the Triple Gold Club having won an Olympic Gold medal, A World Championship and a Stanley Cup. He also one of only five member of the “Quad Club” adding a Canadian Cup and World Cup of hockey to the other three titles. All of these accomplishments added together guarantees Shanahan a spot in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
