About the Player:
Considered by many to be one of the best and most consistent goalies of all-time, Martin Brodeur has led the New Jersey Devils to three Stanley Cups (1995, 2000, 2003). Known for his great reflexes and strong positional play, Brodeur holds over thirty Devils franchise records. He also holds a number of NHL record: Most consecutive 30-win seasons (11), Most 40+ win seasons (5), Most overtime wins (40) and is the only goalie in history to score a game winning goal.
Brodeur is a two-time Vezina Trophy winner (2003, 2004), four time Jennings Trophy winner (1997, 1998, 2003, 2004) and a nine-time NHL All-Star (1996-2001,2003,2004,2007). He has also had success on the International hockey stage, leading the Canadian Olympic team to the Gold medal in 2002.
Brodeur is more then loved by the New Jersey Devils fans, he is a god in goalie gear. His place will surely be among the greats to ever play the game and he will be inducted to many Hockey Hall of Fames when he finally decides to hang up his skates.
