About the Player: Ryan Miler comes from a long line of NHL players, three of his cousins (Kelly, Kip and Kevin Miller) played in the NHL. After an outstanding college career at Michigan State, where ten of his family members have played, Ryan moved to the AHL where he won 41 games. He became the starting goalie for the Buffalo Sabres during the 2005-06 season, he won 30 games, had a .914 save percentage (9th in the league), and a 2.60 GAA (11th in the league). He was named the Player of the Month in October of 2006. Sabres fans expect many more years of great play from their young goalie.
