About the item:
Just a great photo taken during the 1980 Olympics. Photo shows Jim Craig in goal against the Russians, it has been signed by Craig in blue. He has also inscribed Best Wishes and 1980 gold This is a stunning collectible .
It is in mint condition and has been matted in maroon acid free matting. It has been placed in a 1 1/4” Black, Traditional style frame, measuring 11 x 14. This makes a great display piece for any Boston Bruins fan.

About the Player:
Best remembered as the starting goalie for the gold medal winning 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team. In the memorable game against the Russian team, Craig blocked 36 of 39 shots to lead the US team to one of the greatest upsets in history. Days later he would lead them to a 4-2 victory against Finland clinching the gold medal. Craig also played a couple of years in the NHL for Boston, Minnesota and Atlanta.
