Chance Vought F4U Corsair was the most widely used fighter plane during World War II. The plane also saw action during the Korean War as well as a number of regional conflicts. Over 12,000 of these fighter planes were built. It was transported on aircraft carriers and used by many different countries. During WWII this was the most feared plane by with a kill rate of 11:1.
