About the Player Known for his hard partying and locker room humor. Fuzzy Zoeller is a favorite among many golf fans and players. He is one of only three players to win the Masters in his first attempt. (1979) Throughout his professional career Zoeller has won many tournaments, including the US Open in 1985. Many golf experts believe that the 1984 US Open at Winged Foot Golf Club was one of the best US Open tournaments ever. Fuzzy and Greg Norman finished the tournament tied after Norman made a great comeback on the 18th hole. The next day Fuzzy defeated Norman in a playoff round (67 to 75). Fuzzy Zoeller is currently on the Senior tour and recently won a couple of tournaments 2002 Senior PGA Championship and the 2003 MasterCard Championship.
