About the Player
One of the greatest defensive end in NFL history, Lincoln Field was know for his sacks and his upbeat spirit. After coming out of college, he played for the University of Tennessee, Reggie signed with the Memphis Showboats of the USFL. After the USFL folded Reggie was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles. As an Eagle Reggie soared to greatness, he had many great season and was named to the Eagles Honor Roll.
In 1993, Reggie signed with the Philadelphia Eagles where he helped them to two Super Bowls, including the victory in Super Bowl XXXI.
Reggie made 13 Pro Bowl appearances and was the MVP in 1986. He was also awarded the NFL Defensive Player of the Year twice (1987 & 1998) and UPI NFC Player of the Year three times (1987, 1991, & 1995). Reggie was named to the NFL All-Decade Team 1990's & 1980's, and the All Time NFL team. Along with being honored with enshrinement into the NFL Hall of Fame Reggie is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
