About the Player
Jamal Lewis the fifth overall pick in the 2000 NFL draft, out of the University of Tennessee is one of the premier running backs in the league. In his first year he became the only rookie to rush for over 100 yards in a Super bowl. His power running has helped the Baltimore Ravens win many games and he almost broke the single season rushing record in 2003 by rushing for 2,066 yards. Lewis set the record for most rushing yards in a game (295 yards against the Browns) As a result he received the AP NFL offensive Player of the Year award.
