About the Player
Ben Wallace has become one of the greatest defense players in basketball; He is a four-time winner of the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award. In the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons, he led the league in both rebounds and blocked shots.
Ben Wallace was signed as an undrafteed free-agent by the Washington Bullets in 1996, he excelled after being traded to the Detroit Pistons. A four time NBA All-Star (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006), he is the only player in NBA history to record 1,000 rebounds, 100 blocks, and 100 steals in 4 consecutive seasons (2001-04). He holds many NBA recound records and was recently signed by the Chicago Bulls.
