Considered one of the greatest managers in the history of baseball, Sparky Anderson was the first manager to win a World Series in both the American League (Tigers –1984) and the National League (Reds- 1975, 1976). He has the fifth most wins as a manager, was a tow-time manager of the year (1984 & 1987) and was elected into the baseball Hall of Fame (2000).
