About the Player
Chipper Jones has been an All-Star Third Baseman for the Atlanta Braves for the last 13 years. The 1st pick overall pick of the 1990 amateur draft, Chipper Jones has far exceeded expectations, helping the Braves win 11 consecutive National League East Division titles.
His best season came in 1999 when he batted .319 with 45 home runs, and 110 RBI to become the National League Most Valuable Player. This switch-hitting third base is a five time All-Star 1996-1998, 2000-2001. He is the Atlanta Braves all-time RBI leader and has won two Silver Slugger Awards (1999-2000).
